| Cats. |
| Friday, October 06, 2006 |
Today as I arrived back home from school and hopped onto my PC my cat decided to be cute and jumped onto the computer desk, not caring about stepping on my keyboard or shedding fur all over, but then he just settled onto my lap. I wondered to myself as to whether cats really do love their owner. With my cat I was always under the assumption that cats were kind of selfish, that they just really wanted food, sleep, and petting.
So, I consulted Wikipedia. Now put away your pitchforks, I know that Wikipedia has a tendency to have false information! But reading and checking out some of the cat tarticles I realized that those feline kitties really can love their owner. Just because they don't express it the way a dog would doesn't mean they're cold-hearted and out for their intentions only. Right then and there I suddenly loved the furball a whole lot more and was glad to have him.
...Then he climbed onto the computer chair next to me and dirtied it up with his shedding fur.*And right then and then I stood up and shouted "That's it, Ralph! You've crossed the line! I challenge you to a duel!" And so we engaged in Mortal Kombat and I emerged the victor. But then I got a call from PETA and now I know I'll be entering into a world of pain.
*Everything past the asterisk is false and was merely added to humor/shock you/make you groan. |

Well if my cat Mimi EVER jumped onto my keyboard it would literally break in half. I'm not kidding. She is that fat. But I love my kitty. And I would probably freak if i ever dueled her.
Yeah the Monkey's Paw does seem like an Edgar Allen Poe story but if it was, it would probably be a little more terrifying then it is.
How is rubydoo amusing?

Oh, Rubydoo just sounds amusing in that it sounds funny/silly to me. I like it. =P

Thanks! :] It reminds me of scooby doo.

Ha ha... funny post. Even funnier because Iggy is sitting on my lap purring right now as I write this. He wants to add a message.. Here it is:
Hi, Ralph! .o. l kjxikxk'h'b' (from Iggy) :-)

Haha! :-D Nice.
That's an interesting thought. My cat is a little quirky. She doesn't like to be held, and shys away when you pet her, and yet, shes can't not be around people. When she was a kitten, I put her in the kitchen in front of the floor cabinets and walked into the T.V. (10 feet away). She started making the lonliest noises. She couldn't see me anymore, so she assumed I wouldn't be coming back I guess. However, when I went back into the kitchen, she still wouldn't let me touch her. She just followed me around and continues to do so.
I consider her MY cat, because she has actually warmed up to me, and wants me to pet her now. She sleeps in MY room and follows ME around. I guess those are signs of love. I hope they are anyway.
