(Quicktime is Needed)
This is a heavy metal song by the famous metal band "Judas Priest" (one of my favorite bands) when they had their second vocalist, the talented Tim "The Ripper" Owens. He left the band in 2003 so that Judas Priest could reunite with their first vocalist Rob Halford (who originally left in 1993). I'll let you guys think about what the song may be about before jumping into the conversation. I don't know how many of you are into this kind of music but give it a shot anyway. It's always good to be open to all kinds of genres of music.
"Cathedral Spires" by Judas Priest [Tipton/Downing]
They have blown away the daylight Hours we had Left a legacy, a deadly aftermath We cannot exist in godforsaken lands As we spiral down into oblivion Breathing the fumes of fires that they ignite Losing ground and we are all just losing sight We shall never see another setting sun Time to rise up and ascend, the end has come
No more willpower Choked by hell fire
Darkness above Blackening out the sun Gripped by steel claws Corrosion eating us
So before we're all devoured Time to rise up and retire In cathedral spires Watching as the world expires From amongst the clouds In cathedral spires
No names No graves
No prayers Can save us
Ashes to dust Doomsday's upon us now
It cannot be stopped Genocide all is lost
Oh! We're so tired Time to rise up and conspire in Cathedral spires Watching as our world expires From up above the clouds In cathedral spires
Jaws of corruption Swallow us as one Consuming every nation Evoke resistance getting none Complete disintegration No good to defend There can be but one outcome We are no more - ascend
Vaporized fury Offers no sanctuary Oh! We're so tired Time to rise up and retire Watching as the world expires From up above the clouds In cathedral In cathedral spires
Oh! We're so tired Watching the world expire Time that we retired Up in cathedral spires |

It is so great to see that you are personalizing your blog with music and photos. Thanks for the links to the cat page, also. I may have to copy some of those pictures into my blog (but only the G-rated ones)! :-)

Young Patrick!!!!! Ok, so you're not really young patrick anymore. But I miss you. We had a great time in History together. I'm so sad you left our 8th period class last year. How are you buddy? How's school and classes going this year? Let me know what you're taking. Can't wait to hear from you!

I like metal too! :D What other types of music do you like?

Check the profile =P
I try to be open to all genres, although there are a few that are really difficult for me to tolerate.

Hey Patrick, Thanks for commenting. After tomorrow (10/6) yearbooks are $65. If you buy one tomorrow they are only $55. You make the check payable to Toms River High School South. You can buy the yearbook during your lunch. Hope you enjoy your senior yearbook, we're working really hard to make it the best one yet!
